FindCTbiz.com Finds Equity Partner to Help Spur Growth
SOUTHINGTON, CONN – In seven short months, FindCTbiz.com – a consumer based online directory of Connecticut based businesses and services – has gained a significant foothold in this fast developing online arena.
With two recent developments, continued and more rapid expansion is expected, according to company president, Greg Angelillo.
For starters,
FindCTbiz.com has gained Omega Communications (also of Southington) as an equity partner. As one of Connecticut’s largest independent ISP’s (Internet service provider), Omega brings several key strengths to the table, including their widely regarded expertise in Internet connectivity, web hosting, e-commerce, and computer networking. Plus, by investing cash in their new joint venture, Omega president and owner Charlie Cocuzza sees the opportunity for FindCTbiz.com to cover all of Connecticut sooner than originally planned.
“This is a high quality, well thought-out service,” says Cocuzza. “If it weren’t, we wouldn’t be involved. More importantly, FindCTbiz.com fills a real void in the marketplace through its combination of ease of use, Connecticut focus, and clean, inviting graphics.”
At the same time, FindCTbiz.com has entered into a reciprocal agreement with the Southington Chamber of Commerce, where both parties will promote the services of the other via their respective web sites and through other marketing initiatives. “This gives us a tremendous and instantaneous boost in adding to our already impressive core of business advertisers,” says Angelillo.
Opening its web portal for business in January of this year, FindCTbiz.com also includes such consumer-friendly elements as daily stock and weather reports, job postings, and local movie listings.
